E-mail: Contact 		Just read your "Giants" section. Thanks for the well presented info. I do not subscribe to any religion (including Evolution) but I do consider myself a spiritual being. Can you answer this: If all the giants were destroyed in Noah's flood, where did Goliath, Og etc. come from? Descendants of Noah perhaps? Really?

There were giants on the earth in those days, and also afterward....

I think that conditions on the planet changed so that although there were still giants they were not as giant as they were prior to the flood.

E-mail: Contact 		To me it is obvious evolution is a fantasy. Distracting people from what is evil and what is good. I was reading on the first page, before the deluge that there may have been people on the moon. But there were waters above the earth, an atmosphere that prevented people from leaving. Noah, lived 300 years after the flood, may have helped each of the groups with math and science so that after the flood while he was still alive, (or even son or grandson who also lived more than 200 years---but not the people who lived less than 120 like Moses, he may have helped in sending someone into space...what do you think? .

While studying the melt-water pulses, sea levels, migration paths, palo-climate, burst glacial lakes, blonds-in-china, underwater archeology (what little of it there is), an idea struck me. The predicted bottleneck in humanity 70KYA was backwards. Not a bottleneck, but a genetic leap in 1 or 2 valleys in central Asia. We all spread from there in clans over the initial numbers of generations. Each clan took with it a subset of the haplotypes. I think these smart forebearers ascended to incredible technologically in a few generations. Then the last ice age happened. We rebuilt, but everything points to a calamity exactly at meltwater pulse 1a... 13-14kya when th4e eustatic sea level rose 20m in <200 years. It could have risen 20m 1 year considering when the ice sheet glacial lakes burst into the ocean. So, here we are starting again. This time we have wasted a lot of time re-achieving high-tech.
