Some years ago, in 2004 to be exact, I went for the first time to visit a well-known place within the Valencian archaeological tourist circuit. It is the route of an aqueduct through almost 30 kilometers which meanders through various localities: Tuejar, Chelva, Streets, Domeño and Losa of the Bishop, all in the region of the Highlands, in the Province of Valencia.

It is made up of aqueducts (typically high arched), drains, and galleries cut into the rock of the mountains. Traditionally its construction is attributed to the Romans, but there are no actual facts or evidence to substantiate such claims.

The ancient texts mentions only that the construction pre-dates 1797, --that from the pen of insigne Antonio Josef Cabanilles, in his work “Observations on Natural History, Geography, Agriculture, Population and Fruits of the Kingdom of Valencia”.

After studying and writing on the subject I knew that there were previous references than Cabanilles’ about seeing everything pertaining to the region of the Highlands, province of Valencia.

The remaining story is told in the Captions to the photos:

The Remains of the Aqueduct

I’m not saying that the attribution of the construction of the works there to the Romans has no foundation in truth, just that there is nothing in the ancient texts to substantiate the claim.

One ancient source assumes the construction took place in the first century, a time of Roman domination but this attribution is also devoid of any actual evidence to support it, and thus it is mere speculation which follows the political line.

In the political line, it serves only to give all credit to the Romans, holding any notion that a prior civilization, higher in technology was responsible to be non-credible. It is as if in forgetting what we once were, we get rid once and for all of that cultural infection, tyrannical and alien of which the present system is built upon that frightens us.

This is a historical graphic showing the aqueduct in full repair. Soon we were at the entrance called “the Cut Rock ”. It is a vertical section on the rock of 22 meters (72 feet) of height, 90 centimeters (35 inches) in width and 26 meters (85 feet) in length, something truly prodigious for its antiquity.

The aqueduct from below:

It is possible to arrive at this part of the aqueduct situated in Chelva from two different routes. One the route I initially took we found the bridge-aqueduct of 3 arcs with a height of 27 meters (88 feet), and where there was a narrow passage towards the caves of only 60 cm. (2 feet) in width.

The cut in the rock, gives access to the tunnels

View of the end of the cut one with the entrance of the first tunnel to the bottom.

Looking towards the sky from within of the cut.

Here I am loading the video camera and the tripod (I measure 1' 75), (5’ 8”) therefore the magnitude of the cut one is apparent. Already after passing the cut one, we found a small portion partially demolished and an opening to the outside that takes one to the first tunnel.

A Footpath towards the first tunnel.

The first tunnel excavated in the stone, we stopped here before continuing our walk.

A few meters openings can be seen that allow one to observe the deep Precipice of the Cut.

And a little further on, light enters, is the access to a stony platform on the brink of a sheer precipice, where we found the first interesting things.

View from the outside from the exit to the platform --including prehistoric tracks.

Prehistoric footprints, drillings/borings and more strange things.

Here already we come to the heart of the question and take steps to show the items that sustain the so incredible title of this article: Gigantes y Civilizaciones Prehistóricas en España .

When you go to the left of the platform from aqueduct the wall, the first thing that we see are two drilled holes in the rock of about 10 cm (4 inches) in diameter, separated by 1.20 meters (4 feet), which would serve nicely as to seat posts which for example a footbridge would use, to cross the prehistoric river, or the later precipice.

These holes were either drilled when that zone was still mud, and therefore would have been created million years of ago, or more possibly, they were created much later with some type of tool with a penetration capability that exceeds the capacities of the modern tools, such as it was deduced by William Matthew Flinders Petrie with respect to some of the drilled holes found in Egypt created in diorite or red granite, materials of extreme hardness on the Mohs scale.

Drill holes that probably served to anchor posts that would be the beginning of a hanging footbridge.

Here we see several photos of both drilled holes.

Drilled hole in the rock of about 10-12 cm of diameter.

One can still the grooves left by the ancient tool that produced it.

The distance between ruts is pronounced, next to 10 mm, that denotes a big capacity of penetration of the tool.

Also a path with multitude of tracks that go fromthe bottom to the top of the platform (that will measure some 20 X 3 meters). Towards the right hand we can see this series of tracks.

They are of several types, some human and majority of small three toed dinosaurs , (these two photos are of bad quality because they were extracted from a video). The one on the bottom is by my friend, Salva (at the end of the track path).

Detail of some of the tracks.

This are the tracks that goes towards the left side, at the end of them is something interesting that we will see.

Detail of one of the dinosaur tracks, of approximately 15 cm (6 inches)

Two superimposed tracks of a three toed dinosaur. At first I thought that it was a question of a trace of human hand, since after both were superimposed, they gave the appearance of a human hand.

More dinosaur tracks, based on the size I think that they could be velociraptors. The white thing that see in the photo, is silicone, since we took moulds of two of the tracks.

The strange rectangular stamp

At the end of the line of tracks that follows towards the left, we found this strange stamp in the rock, that must have been done when that rock was no more than mud and the precipice was a mighty river that arrived under the platform, that would be the river's edge.

Look at this series of images.

Cast for a building block of some type?

Another cast and view from the other side. It appears that it was inlaid more in the mud on the one hand. It is quite evident that stamp left some type it of artificial stone block. And this makes us deduce, that if the mud takes million years in becoming stone, also there would be civilization (human or not) there in the past.

In addition, the near signs of tracks, seem to be of the same time and contain tracks of dinosaurs and some that seem to be of worn human feet, demonstrating temporary coexistence between both, as its been already demonstrated by the Paluxi River site, in Texas, another stone that strikes the hollow head of Darwin.

We actually found in a small extension of land, footsteps of dinosaurs, humans, artificial stamps possibly millions of years old and drills that whether old or of recent creation are still surprising.

The track of the Giant

Following the course of the tunnels, it took a little while to come to their end and one ends up coming to the open mountain. Some 300 feet below as we made our way down I found my friend Salva and took the photos that speak for themselves;

The track in the stone measures 65 cm (25.5 inches) long, next to my foot that measures 28 ' 5 cm (11.2 inches)

If I with 28' 5 cm foot and stand 1' 75 meters (5’ 8”)…tall, a man with 65 cm foot standing up would measure 4 meters (13.1 feet) in height if the proportions were similar.

Soon after finding the previous tracks in the platform, I notfied the mayor of the locality so that they were reviewed by the archaeologists who work in that area, but the location of the giant footprint I kept to myself, thus I have (or almost) the security that the next time I go there that I will still be able to see it and it will still be there.

Obviously, our history needs a deep revision, and not only in as much to the existence of giants, also to the coexistence of humans with dinosaurs and the possession of technical knowledge in antediluvian times, since time after time there is found more and more evidence of this that appears in every part of this world.
