BURLINGTON, Vt. — A cellphone video of a “creature” that appears to be swimming in Lake Champlain is causing a stir in the North Country.

According to the Burlington Free Press newspaper, Burlington resident Eric Olsen, 37, shot video with his cell-phone camera at sunrise Sunday that shows an object moving across the mouth of a small cover near Oakledge Park. The video can be viewed on YouTube by clicking HERE.

It is creating renewed discussion about “Champ,” the lake’s elusive, legendary monster.

The object appears to raise its “head” a foot or more above the water’s surface, the Free Press notes. At other times a portion of what appears to be a torso also can been seen.

“I was just filming the water when, out of the corner of my eye, I saw something move, and I turned toward it and tried to zoom in on it,” Olsen, a Web site developer and musician, told the Free Press.

As for the sceptics out there, many of them wouldn”t admit that there was evidence that man and dinosaur co-existed even if one of those dinosaurs bit them in the ………

Here at, we’ve put up over 80 pages in our Dinosaurs in Literature, History and Art Section to prove that quite clearly, dinosaurs and man interacted in what we call ancient history. The photo of yet another appears below. Still the sceptics (or skeptics) insist that there has been no such demonstration. Did dinosaurs and man miss each other by millions of years or were they contemporaries as the Bible claims, all made during the first week of creation?

Our assumption; if the Bible is true, then one should find proof in the form of ancient literature and in ancient art. If dinosaurs were seen by man, (even if they weren’t called dinosaurs) they certainly would have made an impression in their time. As it turns out, all such evidence has been ignored, handled, belittled, debunked or mythologized a process that continues to this day.

Those who know that the Bible is right and that the Bible is true will simply keep piling up the evidence. It’s not our job or role to make someone believe. As the Bible says;

“The wrath of God is being revealed from heaven against all the godlessness and wickedness of men who suppress the truth by their wickedness, since what may be known about God is plain to them, because God has made it plain to them. For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that men are without excuse. “….Romans 1

The La Paz Archeological Museum Tyrannosaurus Rex

Right. A figurine in the Collection of the National Archaeological Museum, La Paz, Bolivia. This obscure figure is part of the Museum’s collection of Bronze Inca figures, mummies and a monolith are among the artifacts from the Tiwanaku and Inca cultures housed in this museum. These artifacts are pre-Colombian (prior to 1492) and are from cultures spanning the period 300 B.C. to that time.

Tiwanaku (Tiahuanaco) is thought to be one of the oldest cities in the world and the Andes mountain area near Tiwanaku has been the source of many artifacts depicting dinosaurs.

The T-Rex; The Official Story

“Tyrannosaurus, meaning ‘tyrant lizard’) is a genus of theropod dinosaur. The famous species Tyrannosaurus rex (‘rex’ meaning ‘king’ in Latin), commonly abbreviated to T. rex, is a fixture in popular culture around the world. It lived throughout what is now western North America, with a much wider range than other tyrannosaurids.

Fossils of T. rex are found in a variety of rock formations dating to the last three million years of the Cretaceous Period, approximately 68 to 65 million years ago; it was among the last non-avian dinosaurs to exist prior to the Cretaceous–Tertiary extinction event.

Like other tyrannosaurids, Tyrannosaurus was a bipedal carnivore with a massive skull balanced by a long, heavy tail. Relative to the large and powerful hindlimbs, Tyrannosaurus forelimbs were small, though unusually powerful for their size, and bore two clawed digits”..Wikipedia

Although a tail is not visible, the skull; wide at the rear but narrow at the snout; the unmistakeable deep eye sockets; the thick neck and shoulders (shoulder shape); the small hands compared to the legs; the fact that this depicts a bi-pedal reptile–these all make the identification of this artifact as a stylized representation of a theropod dinosaur (like t-rex), certain.

Clearly, these dinosaurs lived and were seen by the artist who cast this figurine.
