Author Jonathan Whitcomb, a lawyer by profession is out with the Second Edition of his very interesting and thought-provoking non-fiction book; ‘Searching for Ropens, Living Pterosaurs in Papua New Guinea’.According to his own description of the book:

“The book examines two controversial ideas: the truth about living pterosaurs in Papua New Guinea and the fiction of the General Theory of Evolution, Darwin’s philosophy.”

Those are some of the things that we also try to cover on this site.

Book Description

Expanded second edition: An American flight instructor, an Australian psychologist, many natives on tropical islands, an Australian couple, a Baptist minister, a teenaged farm-boy—each saw a giant living pterosaur. Each was amazed, or terrified, or shocked by a brown or dark-colored featherless creature: long-tailed and with a wingspan as great as fifty feet. Why have many Western scientists been wrong about universal extinctions?

Read how standard models of macro-evolution have actually caused the problem, indoctrinating millions into believing that pterosaurs are extinct and ancient. They live now.

Jon Saboe’s book has previously been mentioned and positively reviewed here and is an excellent, page turning, biblio-historical novel.

Also, Mr. Saboe was interviewed about “The Days of Peleg” earlier in January 2008 by Dr. Bob Hieronimus, of 21st Century Radio (Yes, that’s his real name!). That interview is Archived Here.

Was This A Close Encounter With A Thunderbird?

“The eyewitness says that the closest thing that he could find to this creature after researching it is the terratorn, an extinct bird.

Certain aspects of his description however–large beak; wings as muscular arms and shoulders; muscular chest; height etc.. make us think that an identification as a type of pterosaur is also possible. We wonder if he researched his sighting under extinct flying creatures or under birds only?”……

Susan Wooten, of Greenville, South Carolina, was driving from Greenville to Florence (about 1989) when she saw a giant creature glide over the highway in front of the car.

Her friend, who was driving in a car ahead, saw nothing behind her.

“It looked as big as any car, and had NO feathers, not like a huge crane or egret. . . . it swooped down over the highway and back up gracefully over the pines.” It was in a remote swampy area.

Previously, we had a story about giant birds seen by a number of witnesses in the Illinois area.

A man named Huffer had reportedly filmed the birds while on a fishing trip.

Here are 28 seconds of one of the allegedly giant birds as broadcast by Monster Quest.

Those Ancient, Mysterious Kotoko “Horsemen” Rode Some Strange Horses

The ancient Kotoko warriors/horsemen left around some interesting figurines often depicting anywhere from one to four warriors riding stylized “horses”.

Some of the “horses” look like horses, but many others of them look positively “reptilian”. Add to that the notion that if its hard to get more than two warriors on the back of a single horse, these depictions may sometimes be of something larger than a horse. Another point is the way the head and necks of the long-necked creatures are tied–not the way one would tie a horse. (see other “sauropodian” head and neck creatures at the Hamill site).

Let the reader judge all for himself/herself, as always.

It is not the position of the Hamill Gallery or other exhibitors that these minatures represent “extinct reptiles”, that’s just us.

The Kotoko were inheritors of an ancient people known as the Sao who lived in the southern Lake Chad region as early as the fifth century B.C.

DNA Found to Have “Impossible” Telepathic Properties

Feb 07 2008

What theory best explains this mysterious “impossible” phenomenon? The evolution of some type of unknown ability in DNA through Darwinian processes, or the deliberate design-in of this special ability?

What if this ability is necessary for DNA to fulfill its function? How then could it have functioned in that presumed, time expanse prior to “evolution” of these abilities?

Of course, we say special creation is the best answer for the origin of this phenomenon.

DNA has been found to have a bizarre ability to put itself together, even at a distance, when according to known science it shouldn’t be able to. Explanation: None, at least not yet. Scientists are reporting evidence that contrary to our current beliefs about what is possible, intact double-stranded DNA has the “amazing” ability to recognize similarities in other DNA strands from a distance.

Somehow they are able to identify one another, and the tiny bits of genetic material tend to congregate with similar DNA. The recognition of similar sequences in DNA’s chemical subunits, occurs in a way unrecognized by science.
