Here at s8int.com, we wanted to let you (whomever it might concern) know in advance that we will not be offended if you choose to flush a Bible down one of these utilities.

If you try to use our belief that the Bible is the Word of God against us by abusing the physical book in some manner—then shame on you—if however, we actually permit ourselves to be assaulted, to have our faiths weakened or our hearts impacted by such actions—then shame on us.

The Words themselves are sacred to us—but the paper and the binding and the cover—those are part of the creation which is imperfect and already passing away.

Perhaps we could be offended by someone’s refusal to accept those things inside the book, and perhaps we could be offended by other Christians or ourselves failing to live up to the things written in the book—but even if you were to destroy all the Bibles on earth, the Word would still exist-would still be true and would be wholly clean and unsullied. In short, such an action would not only be waste of excellent reading material–it would also be a waste of time.

“I will put my laws in their minds and write them on their hearts.
